And yet, facing a daunting electoral challenge in the upcoming midterms, members of the Democratic Party are still on the Defund train. Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) recently promised to double down on the slogan, even in the run-up to the midterms. “‘Defund the police’ is not the problem,” she said....

NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter scanned the area where Vikram is thought to be. However, no photographic evidence was discovered. NASA said the photos were taken at dusk when Vikram’s location could have been concealed by shadows. The lander was part of the Chandrayaan-2 project and, had it been successful, would have made India the fourth country to have landed on the moon. New Scientist reports that Vikram was supposed to land near the south pole of the moon, an area no previous mission had explored....

Shortly after the end of Stage 2, leader Chase Elliott went straight into the wall on turn one of a restart. But when the checkered flag flew, Elliott and Bowman were triumphant. Elliott won the race one spot ahead of Bowman, who narrowly stayed alive in the playoffs by finishing just above the top-12 cutline. There may have been no better finish to a race than the one we had last year at Chicagoland Speedway as Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch dueled down the last lap knocking each other off lines and into the grass. Ultimately, Busch came away with the win and is appropriately once again favored to win this race at 3/1. He’s a great pick to win the event for a reason....
