But the Nevada court has now ruled that a New York court’s recent vacation of Howard’s prior sole conviction for a violent crime takes the death penalty off the table for his Nevada murder conviction and he must be resentenced, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal....

On Sunday, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommended events attracting over 50 people to be canceled or postponed for at least eight weeks as the U.S. battles with an increasing number of COVID-19 cases. “Large events and mass gatherings can contribute to the spread of COVID-19 in the United States via travelers who attend these events and introduce the virus to new communities,” the CDC said in its new guidelines....

The study, which was published Friday, examined the transmission of the virus at K-12 schools in Maricopa and Pima counties, which make up more than 75 percent of Arizona’s population. During this time private cars with even number plates will only be permitted to drive on even dates and private cars with odd number plates will be restricted to odd dates.
