Among the names considered are Tennessee’s Rick Barnes, Michigan’s John Beilein and Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski. Previous winners in Virginia’s Tony Bennett and Gonzaga’s Mark Few have also been nominated.

Among the 15 coaches nominated, four are from the ACC, while three are from the Big Ten. The SEC, Big 12, Big East, WCC, MAC, AAC, Mountain West and Southern Conference each have one coach represented.
