Nascar Driver Austin Theriault Airlifted To Hospital After Head On Hit At Las Vegas

Just 14 laps into the Rhino Linings 350, Tyler Reddick got loose in Turn 4 and was unable to correct his truck, catching the rear of Theriault and sending him into an area of the wall not protected by SAFER barrier.

After the wreck, Theriault was able to climb out under is own power, but was placed on a backboard before being loaded into an ambulance. He will undergo further treatment at the hospital.
