Reddick secured the pole position for Sunday’s Verizon 200 at The Brickyard on Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s road course, posting an average speed of 99.378 mph to outrun Team Penske’s Austin Cindric in Saturday’s qualifying.
The pole is the second for Reddick in his career; his first came last year at Circuit of the Americas. The 26-year old is establishing himself as one of the Cup Series’ best young drivers; a few weeks ago, 23XI Racing announced Reddick will join its team from Richard Childress Racing in 2024.

Who won the pole for the NASCAR race at Indianapolis?
Tyler Reddick took the pole in qualifying for the Verizon 200 at The Brickyard. It’s the second pole of his career and serves as further evidence of Reddick’s rising stock.
Reddick has eight top-10 finishes in 2022, including a second in last weekend’s wild race at Pocono. If his showing Saturday is any indication, he should turn in another solid performance Sunday.

Starting lineup for Indianapolis race
Reddick will start Sunday’s race on the pole, but another driver has made the Brickyard his home in this race. Kevin Harvick has notched back-to-back victories in the last two editions of the Verizone 200 at The Brickyard.
“The Closer” can use a victory Sunday. He’s sitting just outside the Cup Series playoffs field despite five top-five finishes. A win at the Brickyard would cement his place in the postseason and give Harvick a chance at adding to his 2014 Cup Series title.
