Who won the pole for the NASCAR race at Talladega?
Christopher Bell secured the pole position at Talladega with a 180.928 lap on the superspeedway. He just came in ahead of fellow Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Martin Truex Jr., who was 0.081 seconds back.
This is the second pole position Bell has secured in his Cup Series career. Earlier in 2022, he won the pole at the Pennzoil 400 with a time of 29.561 on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He finished that race in 10th.
