Kenseth, who won at Dover in May, led the final 31 laps on Sunday to win the New Hampshire 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway following a barrage of late-race cautions mixed up the field.

Kenseth started 18th but quickly made his way into the top 10 and was chipping away with a strong Joe Gibbs Racing car. At one time, Toyotas held the top five placed in the 301-mile race.
Tony Stewart finished second, followed by Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick.
Martin Truex Jr. led 123 laps before a mechanical issue derailed his shot at winning. With under 40 laps remaining, Truex reported that he had a broken shifter and quickly dropped nine spots on a restart with 33 laps remaining. He finished 16th.
Filling in for Dale Earnhardt Jr., who was recovering from concussion-like symptoms, Alex Bowman was involved in an accident with 29 laps remaining. Driving the No. 88 race car in the top 10, Bowman had a tire rub then got into the wall. Hendrick Motorsports teammate Chase Elliott also had damage with a separate tire issue. They finished 26th and 34th respectively.
A caution for Kurt Busch’s accident allowed for many lap-down drivers to stay out on the track with 21 laps remaining. It was a risky move but their gamble paid off as just four laps later an accident involving Kyle Larson, Ryan Newman and Carl Edwards reset the field with 11 laps to go.
