Riding a fuel strategy and hoping race leader Kevin Harvick would run dry, Logano got the break he needed. Harvick ran out of fuel two laps from the finish line.

“You could tell his car was slowing down a little bit and then it really slowed down,” Logano said. “I was like, ‘All right, I’ve got something here. Don’t screw this up.’
“I was able to get by [Harvick] into 11 and then he gave me a good shot in the center of 11 and then we were able to get back off the corner.”
Harvick, the Sprint Cup points leader, coasted toward the finish line as the checkered flag flew. He was unable to do anything as Kyle Busch blew by him to finish second.
