Early in the first quarter, Smith picked up a first down. Talib picked up Smith's leg and wouldn't let it go. The two nearly came to blows. Talib was docked 15 yards for unncessary roughness.
The tension escalated a few plays later on the same drive when they got into a shoving match.
Whatever halftime entertainment the Panthers have planned, it probably won't be as exciting as these two squaring off.
UPDATE: Smith had a message for Talib after the Panthers rallied to beat the Patriots, 24-20.
