The nine-year veteran started the season with the Nuggets, but only averaged 5.8 points per game while shooting just over 34% from the field. He was then traded to the Celtics in January, but negotiated a buyout so he could sign with a playoff contender.
Robinson will also play under his old coach Doc Rivers, who led the Celtics to the NBA Finals in 2010.
The Clippers have a 40-22 record and currently own the No.5 seed in the West, but they’ll still need a strong finish to head to the playoffs. Robinson should be able to provide an extra spark.
