The Bulldogs’ 2018 class, which was already impressive heading into National Signing Day, followed up with big gets in five-star cornerback Tyson Campbell and four-star receiver Tommy Bush. Georgia also flipped four-star linebackers Otis Reese and Quay Walker from Michigan and Alabama, respectively.

The Bulldogs are still in the running for four-star defensive tackle Rick Sandidge as well.

This class ends Alabama’s seven-year stretch of top-ranked recruiting classes, which began in 2011 after the Tide finished fourth nationally in 2010.

Georgia’s class — which ranks third all-time behind Florida’s 2010 class and Alabama’s 2017 class according to 247Sports Composite — now boasts 12 top-100 players and seven top-25 players, all five-star recruits. They include …

— Dual-threat quarterback Justin Fields (No. 2 overall, No. 1 DUAL) — Running back Zamir White (No. 9 overall, No 1 RB) — Offensive guard Jamaree Salyer (No. 10 overall, No. 1 OG) — Cornerback Tyson Campbell (No. 12 overall, No. 2 CB) — Outside linebacker Adam Anderson (No. 18 overall, No. 1 OLB) — Offensive tackle Cade Mays (No. 22 overall, No. 3 OT) — Strong-side defensive end Brenton Cox (No. 23 overall, No. 2 SDE)

It’s clear coach Kirby Smart is on a roll in Athens, and this class just goes to show how dominant he is on the recruiting trail.
