Kadri, taking the place of the injured Tyler Bozak on the Toronto Maple Leafs' top line, awkwardly skidded into the boards against the Edmonton Oilers, but didn't miss any time.

The collision happened a few minutes after Kadri assisted on Kessel's game-opening goal; Kessel, in turn, assisted on a James Reimsdyk goal that made it 2-0. Then—and this is after Kadri hit the boards—he threw a puck on net that Kessel converted to make it 3-0. Crazy how playing your most talented center with your most talented wingers can work out.
