With NBA 2K23 set to drop on Friday, Sept. 9, the 2K team has begun to announce the latest ratings for the top players in the game. In addition to the top players, they have also revealed the top-rated rookies in this year’s game, as well as some other ratings upon each NBA player’s request on Twitter.

Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo took the title as the best player in NBA 2K23, sitting atop the list with a 97 overall rating. There’s a large group of players right on his tail, as LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid are all rated at 96 overall to start the season.

NBA 2K23 player ratings

NBA 2K’s official Twitter page has begun to release player ratings, starting with the highest-rated players in the game.

The 2K team is also responding to players who request their ratings, giving fans a few bonus ratings reveals throughout the coming days.
