An eight-day break is bad for both fans and players. So, according to CBS Sports, the league is considering moving the NBA Finals from June 4 to June 2.

“It’s complicated and unlikely, sources say, based on television commitments, hotel capacities, international media travel and other considerations,” writes Ken Berger. “One person familiar with the discussions described them as being in the ‘very early exploration’ stage.”
Berger’s report was written before the Cavs’ win Sunday night. As he points out, there are a lot of obstacles in the way, but the league is at least thinking about it.
