After sweeping the Trail Blazers in the Western Conference finals, Golden State will play in its fifth straight NBA Finals series, a stretch only equaled by Bill Russell’s Celtics from 1957-66. But the Warriors will likely be without Kevin Durant (calf) for the start of the series, so expect the bulk of the offense to come from Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

Over on the East side of the playoff bracket, the Raptors rattled off four consecutive wins to eliminate the top-seeded Bucks. Toronto (58-24) finished with a better regular-season record than Golden State (57-25), so the Warriors will start the NBA Finals on the road. Perhaps that could give the Eastern Conference champs a slight advantage to start the series, but Golden State will likely be the betting favorite.
