AccuScore data leans much more heavily towards the road team than the books do. As opposed to the 40 percent chance Vegas odds give Memphis, AccuScore simulations indicate a 51 percent chance of winning. AccuScore would have listed the Grizzlies as slight -105 favorites.

On the spread, the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook has Charlotte listed as 3-point favorites. Memphis covered a +3.5 spread in 61.1 percent of AccuScore simulated games.

The books have one side as the favorite, AccuScore has the other. The difference between a 40 percent chance and 51 is more than appealing. Memphis will attack the paint, looking to work inside-out. The Grizzlies put up 58 points in the paint in their opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The plus-money on the Grizzlies is attractive considering AccuScore has them as the slight favorites.

Matchup to Watch: Keep an eye on the matchup in the middle with Al Jefferson and Marc Gasol. Jefferson has one of the best low-post games in the league, with footwork to rival any big man right now. Gasol is a former defensive player of the year. Memphis went 40-19 with Gasol in the lineup last year. If the big man can stay healthy this season, expect a huge turnaround from the Grizzlies.

Projected Leaders

Zach Randolph: 15 points (44% FG), 11 rebounds, 2 assists Marc Gasol: 15 points (45% FG), 8 rebounds, 2 blocks

Al Jefferson: 18 points (48% FG), 9 rebounds, 1 block Kemba Walker: 16 points (42% FG), 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals

Supporting Trend: Memphis is 5-2 straight up (SU) in its last seven games on the road, and 4-1 SU in its last five games when playing Charlotte.
