The NBA is getting an early start on promoting what is sure to be a glamor-filled All-Star Weekend. Having the event in New York City adds a certain level of intrigue, then there is the brand new Barclays Center, which was built for $1 billion only a couple years ago. Brooklyn will host all the Friday and Saturday events, including the 3-point contest, dunk contest and Rising Stars Challenge.
