The rule prohibiting football programs from conducting camps and clinics away from their own facilities has been heavily criticized by several coaches, most notably Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh, as being detrimental for student athletes.

Harbaugh had Michigan practice at IMG Academy in Florida earlier this spring and was also slated to participate at football camps around the country this summer.
