Despite the schools refusing to play each other, the rivalry will not die.

While Missouri is not participating in the NCAA Tournament, it did not stop the school from taking a shot at the Jayhawks in a faux-congratulatory tweet to Stanford, which beat Kansas on Sunday to advance to the Sweet 16.
