In Tuesday night's game at home against the Boston Celtics, the Brooklyn Nets' mascot attempted a one-handed trampoline dunk.
But poor BrooklyKnight's attempt went miserably wrong as he launched the ball into the metal framework surrounding the shot clock.
Because the high-flying fail happened during a brief intermission in the game, the game operations crew didn't have enough time to free the trapped ball so it remained wedged above the shot clock for a good portion of the game.
Things weren't all bad for BrooklyKnight -- he did stick the landing.
