Booster fundraising made a solid push to keep Marshall with the Shockers and the school was able to offer him a new contract worth $3 million in base salary, according to ShockerHoops.net. That figure puts him tenth among active college basketball coaches: just below Tom Crean’s $3.045 million base, and above Bo Ryan’s $2.946 million, according to USA Today’s data.

As part of the terms of Marshall’s contract, the Shockers will also have access to a charter jet for all of the team’s away games. Marshall himself will have access to a jet for a minimum of six recruiting trips, as well as three personal trips per calendar year. He’ll also receive two company cars (or a vehicle allowance) and membership at Flint Hills National Country Club, Crestview Country Club, and Genesis Health Club.
