Christie, the New Jersey governor/beachgoer/Mets fan/wannabe Mike Francesa successor, smoothly snagged a foul pop off the bat of the Cardinals’ Paul De Jong at Citi Field, and then gave the ball to a kid. At this point in the game, the Amazin’s had already been charged with two errors and had turned other playable balls into hits.
