MORE: New Mexico State should be outraged, but these Week 1 overreactions are too much
Not many more details are known about the break-in. Moccia spoke to the Las Cruces Sun News about what had happened. He said the bus was carrying administrators from New Mexico State athletics as well as donors.
“When I got back to the bus after the postgame press conference, I was informed that the bus had been broken into or left unattended,” Moccia said. “Everyone had stuff on the bus, including myself. There were work laptops, keys, identification stolen, but the worst thing was the work that was stolen. We all work when we travel.”
A police report has been filed, and the university hopes to find out new information in the coming days.
