Anchor Marcello Cuadra, who presents The Fox 29 Morning Show, let out a juvenile squeal when opening the morning show.
Cuadra was presenting the early morning slot with co-host Madison Glaser on KPLC News, based in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Cuadra attempts to move on and continue with the news broadcast, about President Biden’s oil and gas policy, but he seems put off as moments later he stumbles over his words.
Co-host Glaser remains tight-lipped throughout, but a smile spreads across her face as she seems to suppress a laugh.
While the live gaffe may have been forgotten by viewers, it appears Cuadra is attempting to take ownership of the mistake.
He shared a snippet from the show to TikTok, saying: “Thinking about the time my voice cracked on air in front of thousands of people who think I’m 12 years old.”
Cuadra also shared the clip to Twitter, which captioned in jest “eEEnjoy.”
While the original broadcast may have been watched by thousands, Cuadra’s TikTok clip has now amassed more than 8 million views.
People are impressed with Glaser’s poker face, with TikToker Rachel saying: “She was fighting for her life on the inside trying not to laugh.”
Sonia also praised her, saying: “She was so professional for not laughing.”
While Peter George wrote: “Good for your co-worker she played it very smooth. If that was me I will be dying from laughter.”
Agreeing, Clipz commented: “That was the hardest fight of her life trying not to laugh, I would’ve lost it.”
TikToker Schmeggie asked: “I don’t know how she didn’t laugh… even after the fact like I would have held it in for a minute and then lost it.”
Viewer Patrick Bullock pointed out: “The fact that he laughed before the girl like how.”
And sharing some pearls of wisdom, Don’t ask me suggested: “That’s why I always clear my throat before talking and go ‘uh’ this is one of my biggest fears.”
Madison M. DeChenne admitted: “‘Eee’ I felt that man I’m 25 going on 12 with how often my voice cracks.”
While Laura Bayley joked: “Perfect timing for puberty to hit.”
Cuadra later shared a follow-up video, where he delivered the news flawlessly, saying: “My voice didn’t crack today let’s gooooo.”
