Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said Tuesday that 72 percent of the NYPD has received at least one vaccine dose, and while he expects that number to increase by the end of the week, those who do not comply will be sent home without pay. “We have to prepare as if this is going to go into effect Friday evening and that’s exactly what we’re going to do,” Shea said on NY1, according to the New York Daily News....

Authorities have identified 24-year-old Geoffrey Bertagnolli, who reportedly leaped from the top of the five-story parking garage at Graton Rancheria Casino in Rohnert Park. Deputies with the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department had pulled Bertagnolli off the ledge just moments earlier and handcuffed him. “What concerns me, is how did he get away, with several sheriffs there,” Greg Sarris, tribal chairman of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, told KTVU....
