The survey, which was conducted by the conservative-leaning Remington Research Group, shows both Republican Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler ahead of Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, respectively. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution first reported the poll results. Perdue leads Ossoff by 4 points—50 percent to 46 percent. But 4 percent of Georgians were undecided. The race between Loeffler and Warnock appears to be even closer, with the Republican backed by 49 percent of the southern state’s voters compared to 48 percent who support the Democrat....

The Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines, which transported gas from Russia to Germany underneath the Baltic Sea, suffered a rupture late last month. On Tuesday, the Swedish newspaper, Expressen, published the first underwater photos and videos of the damaged pipeline taken by an underwater drone. The new images appear to show tears on the seabed near the site of one of the ruptured pipes. The Nord Stream structure itself appeared to have suffered more severe damage than suspected, with a chunk of the pipeline completely torn apart, not just cracked open....

Santa Fe Public Schools will be remote starting Tuesday, the largest voluntary closure of K-12 schools this semester, according to the Associated Press. In addition, Los Lunas Schools, a district near Albuquerque, canceled classes starting Monday, opting for a remote strategy for the two days before their Thanksgiving break. The move from the two districts is one of the first examples of the new rule replacing the state’s Public Education Department having control over school districts going remote....

In prior seasons, only quarterbacks, kickers and punters were allowed to wear single digits, but that’s now a thing of the past with the NFL’s new rule. In fact, more position groups than not are allowed to wear those single digit numbers moving into the future....

In two videos uploaded to social media platform TikTok, user heatherbenge explained she found the secret room after being tipped off by a neighbor. In the clip, mother Heather said she had bought the house as a foreclosure during the pandemic and that the previous owner contacted a neighbor to let them know about a secret room in the home. Heather revealed the secret room was behind the closet in the upstairs bedroom and could be opened via an intricate locking mechanism....

Javits Convention Center in Manhattan, and the four-day convention will have a plethora of celebrity guests, screenings, panels and events with artists, writers and gamers for fans to enjoy. The San Diego Comic-Con in July brought big reveals for shows like The Walking Dead and Disney and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, so one can only hope the New York convention will bring the same excitement for other renowned series....
